Sam Grobmeier is a New York City based producer and performing artist with a passion for merging her advocacy with her art. She holds a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and MBA from Saint Xavier University. She has expertise in video production, public service scriptwriting, and social media communication through her 6+ years of freelance work experience with various organizations.
Sam is an associate producer on the organ donation documentaries “Teach Life” and “GIFTED: The Docuseries”, both of which have won international Telly awards. Recently, she was the lead producer and general manager for “All the Frozen Ones”, a new play starring TONY Award-winner and screen star Robert Sean Leonard. She was also a producing assistant with bd productions, where she worked on Broadway shows and national tours including SIX, The Outsiders, Jagged Little Pill, and more.
Sam is committed to the mission of the Foundation her and her parents started, not only to honor the memory of her younger sister Maddie who passed away from a sudden asthma attack just two days after her 18th birthday, but to help other young people understand the life-saving gift organ donation brings to so many. She firmly believes that her generation will be the generation of change, and she is very proud to contribute to that.
